What is the purpose of the
"Dutch Lily Days"

The Dutch Lily Days is dominated by the lily trial greenhouse and a the Spring Mechanisation Exhibit with suppliers of the flowerbulb industry. The lilies can be judged and compared by the various growers who have delivered their bulbs to VWS. The newest varieties are mostly flowering during the Dutch Lily Days.

For prospective and existing flower growers the The Dutch Lily Days are a perfect opportunity to see what VWS has to offer and how we test and guarantee our quality. It is also possible to compare the already known varieties wit the newest varieties. The entire team of sales and purchase is especially prepared for you this day.They can tell you more about the newest varieties showed that day.

The top 15 of lily companies has decided to work together during the open day's. So now we launch a brand new concept called "Dutch Lily Days" A whole week in wich you can visit the top 16 lily companies of The Netherlands. For the collective website click here.

During the "Dutch Lily Days" at VWS Export - Import of Flowerbulbs BV you will see the Mechanisation Exhibit the Spring Edition ment for flower grower, supplier and breeders. New this year is that its also open for all companies and consumers. With a strong campaign everybody will be informed about the new "Dutch Lily Days". Production and techniques together at one place, an ideal combination, according to the visitors and suppliers of the past Open Greenhouse Days.

"Dutch Lily Days" from 22th May till 25th May 2012 - Don't miss it !!!

During the "Dutch Lily Days" 400 till 450 different lily varieties which have been planted in the trial greenhouse, can be seen. The different varieties have been split up in 50% new and 50% existing varieties. From more than 2100 lots trials have been planted in order to form a good picture of as many as different growers and varieties possible.
